TIPS TO MONETIZE YOUR EMAIL LIST
The simplest way to monetize your email list immediately is to employ a tripwire strategy.
A tripwire is a low-ticket product usually offered as soon as someone signs up to your email list.
Tripwires are usually e-books, mini-guides, videos, audio files, templates, cheat sheets or reports.
Your product should preferably be under $50.
I’ve seen tripwires at various price points from $7, $17, $29, and $39.
There are 5 (+1) aspects of a tripwire strategy:
- A simple product
- A simple sales page
- A pathway
- Urgency—an evergreen timer
- File delivery + payment processor
- Retargeting ad This is an optional step. It helps to maximize your sales but is not a must if you don’t have a budget for ads
